Restorative

Restorative dentistry is about procedures that restore damaged or missing teeth.

Tooth Coloured Fillings

Tooth coloured fillings, or composite fillings, are created to blend in with the natural appearance of your teeth. They are less noticeable than previous materials used. With this technique, our Brampton dentist removes the decayed area of the tooth and then strategically places the composite material to restore the tooth. Next, a state-of-the-art light system is used to harden the material so that the filling can last for years to come.

Dental Implants

A dental implant procedure involves the surgical placement of a titanium-based anchor into the jaw bone, used to permanently secure a natural-looking replacement tooth. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth. They are custom made to match the colour of the patient’s natural smile. Implants are often used to fill the space where a tooth has been extracted, and prevent bone loss associated with tooth loss. They also prevent the shifting of other teeth to the space where the tooth once was, which negatively impacts the bite and appearance of a smile.

Crowns & Bridges

A crown is a form of dental restoration that fully caps over the tooth, protecting the tooth and providing support after a root canal treatment, or to strengthen a weakened tooth. A porcelain, ceramic or resin crown resembles the enamel (surface layer) of a natural tooth, and provides a very natural looking result.
